As we have talked about in other episodes, your brand is tied to who you are and what you stand for. That in turn will establish at least half of your mission. Robert Kiyosaki shared that a business needs a spiritual and a financial mission to be successful.

The spiritual side of the mission is who you are, what you stand for, who you want to serve, and how you want to serve them. If you can be clear on this, you will attract your focus customers. The financial side is where you will set targets and milestones to achieve in order to continue to serve more and more customers, grow your business, and execute the various phases of your strategy and vision. A successful business has both of these within their mission. It may not be in your “mission statement” but it will be in the overarching mission of your business.

Your challenge today is to review your mission, ensuring you have both the spiritual and the financial components in order to build your brand.
