What is scarier than a zombie? 🧟♂️ The answer is: not following your dream. Happy Halloween everyone!
Today is the day we talk about the scary things that could exist in this world. (You know I grew up in the 80s with the Freddie Krueger, Jason, and Micheal Myers movies so my mind always goes to those situations.) This is the holiday where we focus on fear, being frightened, and having a laugh at those fears. But let me tell you about a fear that isn’t something you will laugh at in the future if you let it win, that fear that you will regret not overcoming is the one where you miss out on your dream.
You see, we were all put on this earth to do something. I believe that to be true. We have been given gifts and capacity and then free will to do with all of it what we chose. And for many people, they are choosing to play it safe instead of facing and overcoming their fear.
I’m here to remind you, on the day of facing your fears, to face this one too. If you have been dreaming about a business, thinking about starting one, are in the early phases of establishing a business, or you are in the middle of a startup but you are still only halfway committed, overcome your fear today.
Stop letting the fear of failure, the fear of what other people will think, the fear of starting small and everyone seeing you, the fear of not being good enough, the fear of losing your really good job, and everyone knowing you made a big mistake, the fear of telling everyone you want more than what you have and coming across like you are ungrateful.
Let it all go.
Face those fears, today.
Punch those fears in the face like we all pray the girl does to the estranged killer in the 80s horror movies. 🥊
Start November 1st with a whole new attitude. Like the last survivors at the end fo the horror movie, get ready to be stronger, better, and ready for what lies ahead because of the fears you have already faced.
