At this point in the year, I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t remind you to invest in yourself.  Today is what has been deemed Black Friday from a retail perspective; the day that everything is massively on sale and everyone is out trying to find bargains and deals.  Now, this year looks a little different because we aren’t out shopping like maybe we did in the past. But we are still looking for those bargains.  And most importantly, we are still looking for those special gifts. Those special, one-of-a-kind gifts show just how much you know that person.

Let me tell you a little secret about me.  I absolutely LOVE giving gifts.  LOVE it!  It is my absolute favorite.  I enjoy getting to know someone and then looking for the perfect gift that fits them, their likes, their personality, and maybe even something they didn’t know existed or didn’t think to look for.  I like to make gifts personal and special.  And hands down I enjoy giving them more than receiving them.  The amazing ability to watch someone’s face light up.  To know that they matter and you have shown that, not by giving a gift, but by the exact gift that you gave.  I love making sure people feel loved.

So, that said, I have to spend a little bit of time today making sure you feel loved.  You see, in all of the gift-buying and giving and searching and looking, what we can do from time to time is to forget to take care of ourselves.  Now, that can be applied in two ways.  1. We buy for everyone else and not for ourselves.  2.  We don’t tell our families the things we truly want because we don’t want to be a burden, right?  We don’t want to be selfish or ask for things.  Heck, maybe we also want someone to know us as we know them and buy things for us that are special and convey their level of love for us.  It could be all of the above or something else entirely.

Either way, the point is that as you are shopping for others, are you taking the time to ensure you are investing in yourself?  Again, that could be getting stuff for yourself directly or it could be telling others what you want.  So here is my challenge to you.

If someone asks you what you want for Christmas or what would be meaningful to you, I want you to tell them something that is an investment in you.  Not a pair of shoes. Not a new something for the kitchen, although all of those things are nice. I’m talking about a training program that will cause you to learn something new, be something better, and help you continue to become the person you are meant to be.

It could be a Tony Robbins program.  It could be the new program we are doing a presale on here at Legend Leaders.  It could be something to help with your morning routine.  At the end of the day, take care of yourself.  You deserve it.  Ensure you get something for you that helps you develop and grow into the person you are meant to be, taking you to the next level.  I have a feeling people want to love on you as you love on them.  Let them.  Let them see the joy and appreciation on your face because they did something special for you.  Don’t take that from them.  Help them give you something that helps you go to the next level.

Be Legendary!
